Overall a perfect place if you absolutely know what you want and are willing to pay the appropriate price. The prices are high, but the items are finely crafted and very well-preserved, so it makes sense to me that they would be expensive. Not a place to go if you're not willing to pay top dollar for quality, but it's also nice to go and look around at the pretty items if you just want to have a good time in an antique store.
It does feel a little "stuffy" in there, and I felt like the guy at the front definitely had an eye on me the whole time. But that's understandable, given the value of everything lol. I felt like a bull in a china shop in there :p It's a beautiful place, and a gem for serious collectors of French pieces!

Stunning antique and vintage store in downtown. Lots of lovely items. Plenty of 20th century and mid-century French and European finds along with the requisite Provencal, Louis XV/XVI and country goods. Owner was lovely. I have a feeling that if it isn't out on display that she might have something tucked away or could find it for you. Lots of candles and gifts as well.
This is the real deal so prices are reflective of the high quality. The owner also let me know they sell on 1stDibs. Certainly worth a stroll through. Only thing missing was champagne, but I suspect there is a bottle close at hand.

The customer service was horrible. I was looking around the place and taking pictures of the pieces that I thought were nice (Even though pretty much every item was overpriced). After about 30 minutes, an employee approached me and said that I looked really interested in some of the items. I told her that some of the items were pretty cool. I continued to look around, until she began to follow me around, approaching me again about 15 minutes after that.
She told me that I can't take pictures of the items due to concerns of theft, implying that I was "casing" the place. I was understanding, explained that I was only sending the pictures to family, and promised to delete the pictures I took and that I wouldn't take any more. She continued to press the issue and repeated herself multiple times, going so far as to say, "This is a fine antique store, not a flea market.
You can't do that here." To summarize, the items aren't worth the price and, if you want to look around, avoid looking too interested in items, because that apparently means you want to steal them.

Terrible customer service. I came here a couple weeks ago and was accused of "casing" the place within 20 minutes of being there. After she made her claim, she continued to repeat herself ensuring that I knew just how extravagant her store was, stating that it was "a fine antique store, not a flea market" when I did nothing in the first place to disrespect the environment. In conclusion, don't spend your money on these ridiculously marked up items!
