While this is a lovely store, I did not have a great experience. I took a watch in to get an estimate since it was not running, and they quoted me a crazy amount to fix what ended up being a magnetizing problem. Thankfully I got a second opinion. The other shop charged me nothing to fix it. Unfortunately I also had them replace a diamond in an antique Georgian ring, and while the replacement went fine, they cleaned over 200 years of patina off of my ring!
Who does that? I was shocked to pick up my shiny polished ring that looked like it was newly made, when the beauty and value of antique jewelry is in the patina it gains over time. I really would expect them to know better. Will not be back.
