The next weekend I made the pilgrimage to a local salvage company and the moment I walked through the doors LIGHTNING STRUCK! The puzzle came together. I had found the missing piece. Six weeks later I had quit my job in sales and started salvaging (or at that time RIPPING) out a Boston brownstone and throwing the materials in my garage to sell at a local flea market.

We have wanted to make the trek up to Nor'East from Boston for quite some time and are so glad we did. Donna and Colton were super helpful and so nice. Donna even provided lunch recommendations (Amesbury and Newburyport, MA are the next towns over and there are so many cute farms and shops close by). There was no pressure and we were able to walk around the amazing space at our own pace.
You could spend a lifetime looking at all of the treasures and are sad we don't live closer or we would be there every week. We found the perfect stained glass window for our 1880 Victorian and will definitely be back to pick up more things as we continue on our restoration journey. You can either go in with a plan (their website has extensive listings of items for sale and Donna does an amazing job at managing their Instagram account), or just meander around and see what catches your eye. I don't think it's possible to leave without at least one thing.

My husband and I have been in here several times, the people that work here always seem irritated when asked questions, also seem to lack general knowledge on the items they have for sale. We are having a bathroom re modeled in our 1917 craftsman, and we want a period bathtub and fixtures we have decided to purchase our items at another local place due to the way we have been treated almost every time we go here. After the last time we will not return.

Another wonderful visit to NorEast! The team of John, Colton, Jason & Donna could not be better. I walked in for some antique knobs and walked out with that and two plaster ceiling medallions, the coolest wooden box and Art Deco shade! Colton was such a help getting everything I needed. It is a treat going in there to be sure! Architectural salvage hunters will have a ball!

I am a Contractor. I was looking for some rough hewn antique beams. After walking around for 45 minutes in the hot sun looking and not having any luck I decided to stroll through their main building. Just as I was about to leave I bumped into John the owner. He asked me what I was looking for. I told him what I was looking for and showed him some architectural plan I had with me.
He told me no problem and then brought me to a stack of exactly what I was looking for. I explained that the beams would need to be milled and John said no problem. I had no idea that they where a full service operation. So glad I went there.
