John did an amazing job of restoring my heirloom 1964 Omega Constellation! Acquired from an uncle's estate where it sat unused for 14 years, the watch now looks and runs like new!

My son's 30th Birthday was only a few weeks away when I contacted Mr. DiDonato regarding the restoration of his great-great grandfather's circa 1894 American Waltham pocket watch, as a birthday gift to him. The watch came back several days prior to his birthday and absolutely exceed expectations. It looks and works like a brand new watch and it's hard to believe it is 125 years old. Mr. DiDonato was also able to find a newly made Waltham pocket watch presentation box, which was icing on the cake. I, and most importantly my son, are extremely appreciative of the time and effort, and the willingness to work within our tight time frame, to get the watch back to us.

From the very outset, John answered every query about his watches I asked.quickly and clearly. His prices are fair and reasonable, and his watches come with a warranty. I recent came in possession of a vintage Rolex and was looking for a place to take the watch for repairs and refurbish. After doing some research I reach out to Mr, DiDonato and he gave me an overview of his ideas just by seeing the photo and promised even more detailed review of my options once I sent him the watch. After sending him the watch he gave me a few more recommendations and provided a detail invoice so I could understand the cost.

He provided updates over the next few weeks of his progress as well as provided additional suggestions on a vintage band. Sent John two vintage watches (a 50 year old Zodiac & and an old Piquette) for repair & servicing. He didn't balk at working on watches this old, nor did he shy away from fixing them once he was able to look at the mechanisms. I was appraised of cost before the work was undertaken and best of all, the watches look great and are running perfectly.

What do you say about a guy like John? His character is unimpeachable, he does the right thing simply because its the right thing to do. This was my second experience with him and it was a little rough--there were some problems as the watch I had purchased on ebay was not repairable, it was in such bad shape. John completely took care of the whole problem for me AND held my hand when I got nervous.

He's a kind person. And, since I have had one watch repaired by him, I will say that he certainly knows how to fix watches--he got an old Hampden pocketwatch of mine running perfectly, and this was a watch that had a smashed jewel and some other serious problems. Just an A1, top notch dealer and squared up businessman. What can I say beyond that?
