Central Mass Auctions is an extremely helpful organization. I called with questions around the value of a safe that I found in my barn when I purchased my new help. They provided me great feedback and helped lead to a sale.

I called about a oil painting my parents had, that was signed by a well known artist. I was told they have sold this artist in the past for 5 Thousand -15K was the max they sold. We had this painting appraised at 20K So I went with them. I now received the check for 187.00 WTH Complete rip off. They didn't do much research on this painting apparently or even started at a higher bid like most auction places do.

I hope who ever screwed on the money enjoys it for penny's because it should have been bought for at least 5k or more. IT was a painting of a family member breast feeding a child, and they were good friends with the artist. Shame on these people. DONT GO TO THEM! DO YOUR RESEARCH

I recently bought a ticket to get things appraised. The appraisal was horrible. I found more information on my items than was told to me. They told me a painting had no value and it was unknown artist when in fact it was a known artist and it's value it's well worth more than what he said. There's so many appraisers out do your research on appraiser.

I asked for a refund since they were clueless on my stuff and gave me no valuable knowledge instead even gave me wrong information. They refused to refund me which is fine but I just want to review wherever I can so others can get their stuff appraised elsewhere or with someone more experienced.

I can't say enough about Central Mass Auctions. They helped me dispose of a very large estate collection of art and antiques. They were responsive and helpful, in stark contrast to several other auctioneers and dealers. Wayne and his associates are real life savers. My in -laws ran a bed and breakfast for over 30 years and accumulated a tremendous amount of antiques, collectibles and other "stuff". As a result of sudden medical conditions we had to liquidate the bed and breakfast quickly. I called Wayne and he came right out and his associates went through and organized the entire house and outbuildings and conducted an estate sale within a matter of weeks. As a result of their established connections and reputation hundreds of people attended the sale. I would highly recommend Wayne and his associates.

I am so impressed with this company, and all the people that work for it. I stumbled upon an auction they were hosting, and went several times to the event they held over a couple days. Not only was everything extremely well organized but the way in which it was held was impressive. This auction happened to be an estate auction, they had information both on line and in person.
