I fell madly in love with the "Decor" pattern Gorham silver service and, now that I know Richard, I am madly in love with him, too. I might as well have direct deposit with GCA&FA, because I also got matching candlesticks and have my eye on much more. I don't understand any of the few negative reviews. Richard personally dropped off my first purchase since he was concerned that the mahogany chest the service came in would not survive shipment.

I live fairly close by but I think he would have driven it to California if I told him I lived there. I now have the tablescape of my dreams and a new friend! Thanks, Richard!

Absolutely amazing experience. It's like a hidden gem in Long Island. Very knowledgeable, polite and intelligent service. Huge choice of antiques and other valuable items. Fare prices for sure. Compared to many other similar places. Definitely recommended for buying and trusting this company.

I did not have a good experience. I left a message about an item I wanted to sell. Rich called me back and told me to text him a pic of what I was selling which I immediately did. I never got any response back from him. I then emailed him with the pics to make sure he got them. Again no response. I think that's terribly rude and unprofessional.

I sent photo of an Eric Sloan Original painting to Richard for his thoughts as to sale eligibility. He was very forthright with his opinion regarding size and my expectations as to what one could expect the worth of the piece. And went on to offer to check other sources. All in all my experience was quite congenial and educational!
