G Ghastly, Karen couldn't have been more cheeky/insolent/rude! Nothing worth bidding on with these people to go through that experience. Many other better houses to buy from or sell through.

Would NOT recommend this "auction house". Lawson should have stuck to engineering. Too self interested to care about consignors interests.

I was happy to finally get some items appraised and sold. Mark Lawson is a professional, knowledgeable, kind, man. There was no pressure to sell an appraised item and I look forward to returning in the future.

It was time to pass along some long held jewelry, coins and other items that were no longer needed and Mark helped us to do that. He was knowledgeable, professional and fair in his assessments and helped us accomplish our goals. Even more importantly he was personable and kind and shared his expertise without hesitation. We would highly recommend Mark Lawson and look forward to working with him again.

12/10/2020 After a few emails back and forth with Alexandra, we made a house call appointment with Mark Lawson to look at some items we were interested in selling, one of which was a large painting we did not want to transport. Before the appointment we received a detailed email as to what to expect at our appointment. Mark arrived on time and was very cordial and knowledgeable.

He offered us fair market value for some gold jewelry we no longer wear, and he will be attempting to sell two items at auction. Our experience so far has been particularly good. 5/17/2021 I'm happy to report our two items sold at auction and we received our settlement check. I would definitely do business Mark Lawson Antiques again.

We met with Mark, March 2021, with a small collection of family heirlooms, jewelry, artwork, china and coins. Mark proved to be knowledgeable and fair. As Mark assessed each item he also gave a running commentary which was both interesting and educational.

I am extremely happy that I chose Mark Lawson to help me. He is very professional and up front in an informative way. His knowledge and experience were obvious as he considered each item in my home. Mark was able to help me liquidate many items on the day of the appointment and also gave me a solid plan for the future as I prepare to stage my home for sale. I enjoyed Mark's cordiality and that of his assistant. Communication from the business was excellent throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Mark!

I contacted Mark Lawson during the time that NY was on pause and even though he was not seeing clients, his assistant checked in with me every couple of weeks by email. How perfect, I didn't feel forgotten and as soon as Mr. Lawson was able to meet with clients an appointment was set up. I met with Mr. Lawson on 6/5/2020 (I'm a bit late in getting this done).

I was so amazed with how at ease he made me while looking through the items in this estate. His knowledge of the items and what items are in demand was incredible. I thought he may have been able to purchase more, but everything that he did was helpful to me. He took the time to answer all of my questions. I know in the future I will contact him again. After finally emptying the jewelry boxes of my mother, grandmother and mother-in-law who have been deceased for decades, I had no idea what most of the pieces really were made of or if they had any value. I phoned Mark Lawson and spoke with a very pleasant Juliana who understood my dilemma and set up an appointment for me to meet with Mr. Lawson. Although I had hundreds of pieces of jewelry, he took his time to look at each piece and determine if it had any value.

I was concerned about being embarrassed or treated like I was wasting his time but felt just the opposite. He was professional, knowledgeable and answered my many questions with a patience that made me feel very comfortable and confident that he was being more than fair in his assessment of the pieces and value he was willing to pay for items. I would highly recommend Mark Lawson to anyone who has something they would like to sell but don't know where to go.

Mark was great! His office staff is punctual with getting back to you, setting an appointment to take a look at your items at a convenient location and offering you a very fair amount for what you've got. Everything was easy and the transaction was smooth and paid on sight, would definitely do business again with Mark and his staff. Give them a shot Mark really knows his stuff.
