It's About Time Shop

I cannot recommend this shop highly enough. i took in a mantle clock that had not work in ten years and this shop did an had it up and ticking again in two weeks at a reasonable price. This is an excellent clock repair shop.

Highly recommend! I have a grandmother clock that was passed down to me from my mother. It was transported to Virginia from Florida a couple of weeks ago in terrible need of some TLC. With flexibility in my schedule, I was able to get an immediate appointment with him and the clock is chiming again. For over 40 years old, she sounds as good as new!

The chains on our coo coo clock had come off the back. We walked in and to our surprise they fixed it right there while we waited. We doubled what he asked for compensation. Thank you for being so friendly, helpful and for giving us a trick to prevent it from happening again!

Highly recommended. Ryan not only did a thorough cleaning and oiling of my beloved antique grandfather clock, he was able to provide me with information on where and when it was made. He also gave me a couple of recommendations of specialists able to work on some age-related damage to the wood case. Clearly very knowledgeable about clocks!

I only deal with Steve as he repairs my type of clocks. He is thorough, honest, knowledgeable and an outstanding clock smith. I most highly recommend him.

We needed our Grandfather clock packed for a local move so we called "It's About Time". Steve came and packed our clock before the move and then returned to set it up on the other end. He was on time and reasonably priced. We were very happy with the job. I would definitely recommend him.

They took a month just to come by and look at my clock (which they'd serviced several times before, for my late Mother). They repeatedly postponed the pickup; when they did show, they unexpectedly charged $170 just to collect the clock (believe me, I'd have been happy to run ten minutes down the road, to save $170). After a quick inspection, they advised me that non-trivial repairs were required (pick-up + repairs + delivery = some pretty serious money).

After two months of no response, finally was advised that they were backup with repairs for nine more months. They claimed they had done 'some repairs' however, it was obvious that they were simply lying to me. This was the worse experience this year with a business anywhere.
