Located within two buildings, The Maryland Antiques Center complex is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM 5:00 PM and stays open until 8:00 PM the first Friday of every month. It is Southern Maryland's largest shopping and dining destination, featuring beautiful antiques, beautiful hand made furniture and wood objects, lighting, books, local hand made crafts, unique gifts, gourmet foods, custom framing, and delicious dining in our restaurant.
The main building houses two art galleries, a vast selection of antiques, books and collectibles, new gift items, a jewelry and clock repair facility and three dining rooms serving luncheon and afternoon tea, as well as a full service bar.
The second building houses The Artisans Center, which includes The Craft Guild of St. Mary's County, the Fuzzy Farmer and Treddle Studio. There you find local artisans either teaching classes or working on hand made items or spinning and weaving beautiful fabrics daily. At Shelby's Specialties next door you will find another local art gallery and a custom framer.
While visiting, you might want to treat yourself to lunch in our restaurant, or just relax with a glass of wine, stop by for a dessert, or try our delicious homemade quiches or scones. Cream tea is served daily or you could choose to make a reservation and treat yourself to High Tea. Either way, we promise you will have a relaxing experience and a unique shopping/dinning experience.
