Against the backdrop of "businesses" these days BT is truly one beyond compare. Yes they are in business to make money. The part lacking these days is honesty/compassion/understanding. BT has this piece in hand making them the best choice when it comes to handling estates and really tough personal situations. Hats off to Bill & Co. Thank you for making a bad situation easier to get through! C Freund

I love this place. There is always a large selection of items to bid on. You can find just about anything here! The auctioneer has a great sense of humor and keeps things moving. I've found really great deals here! Its a really fun afternoon even if you don't buy anything. Because I had a few great experiences buying here, I brought in items to be sold. I was very pleased with my transactions on both ends.

This place is a total setup. We don't know if the auctioneer is in on it but the bidders are definitely in cahoots. When their consigned items come up for bid, they bid on their own items, or items of the friends in the group so the price gets jacked up. When an outsider of the group has an item up for bid, nobody will bid on it until the auctioneer lowers the bid to a ridiculous $2.50 and one person in the group will bid and win for the opening bid.
The auctioneer is inexperienced and guesses about what the item is when he doesn't know. He sells a lot of fake sports memorabilia. He sold $2 bills for less than a dollar when the bills were put up by someone outside the group. This is a planned auction so the locals buy low and sell high. Don't waste your time or money, there are plenty of honest auction houses with better quality items.

Auction itself was pleasant, diverse and free to bid, which is great. However, its difficult to make money off these auctions because collectibles are usually purchased above market value. Good for the seller but difficult to make any money if you're the little guy clawing to get ahead. For example, the last auction I attended, individuals were paying over a hundred dollars for Hot Wheels collectibles that are currently selling for about 8 bucks in-package on eBay. Ertl tractors and Tonka toys all sold over market value as well.
