My name is Edward Michniewicz. I have been happily married since 1967. In 1996 Doris' Mom passed away and we inherited a basic service for 8 of Old Curiosity Shop dinnerware. These were the dishes that were traditionally used on holidays and special family gatherings in Doris' family. They hold a lot of sentimental value. As the set was short a few pieces, Doris asked if I could find more of these items on the Internet. I said I thought I could and found eBay. We then found out these items were "collectible". We then started looking in the local Antique and Collectible shops for "our dishes".
We had no idea of how many pieces were in this set and were thrilled at out new discoveries and acquisitions. But some of these items were costing more and more. It then came to mind that while looking for "our dishes" we ran across deals on other patterns of Royal Items. Brainstorm! We can buy the good deals on those C&I, Memory Lane, and others and resell them and invest our earnings into completing our set. Well one thing led to another, and I am not known for passing up a good deal, and we have amassed over 10,000 pieces of Royal China that we sell through our website. When we found the C&I Club we were thrilled. We began learning more and more about these dishes and making new friends in the process.

This is a great antique store that has a lot of individual areas set up with different sellers items displayed. They have so many items that it can take hours to walk around the whole thing. All of the displays are very clean and have interesting items. There is a huge variety of items through out this massive store. Very worth the visit. They are located with in the restored historic savage mill buildings. Very friendly service.

I love coming here and walking through the store and seeing all the different types of antiques they offer. I have a huge selection of all types of antiques from all over the world they have a great silver selection and renaissance art. I often come here to collect Harpers weekly's newspaper articles and other sorts of antiques. Most of their collection is pretty pricey however there's nothing around that offer the same quality or uniqueness as they do. The staff is usually pretty helpful but they usually stay upfront at the desk you can walk around in peace and quiet searching for the things you like.

My husband and I come here quite frequently and really enjoy browsing. There's a good selection of vintage/antique items though I feel like the focus of most booths is more on the latter. I just find the prices at most of the booths to be a bit high. I often see items I like but then look at the price and am like woah maybe not. It's worth a visit but be aware that a lot of the items are marked up.

Who needs food when you can get lost for hours at the Antique Center in Savage Mill? I spent a delightful morning/afternoon with my daughter exploring the many nooks and crannies and came away with some coveted treasures. The space itself is huge and well lit to display everything from furniture to clothing to jewelry to dishes to curios. Much of it reminded me of all the things I miss in my grandparents' home. The ladies who work there are helpful gems with stories to tell and plenty of smiles. I will definitely back

This place has everything you can ever dream of. There are so many independent vendors and so many exclusive antiques, you have to begin your day early. I have purchased winter blazers from various vendors in this location and my favorite is still the tweed Hutlzer's of Baltimore blazer that I wear in the winter. There are pieces that are in such great condition, you couldn't believe it was from the 50s and still not pilling.
I have also seen tribal sculptures and trunks as well as furs at this location that are in generally good condition. There is a library section for those enthusiasts. On Friday night, ladies night or whatever they call it now, they serve wine and some kind of punch which is spiked to get you pretty imbibed.

Great little stop if you are in the area. More furniture than I'd hoped, but that does not mean I didn't find what I was looking for! I found the prices reasonable (for DC area), and the workers were extremely helpful. Also saw quite a bit of train memorabilia, vintage fashion, and silver sets. Worth a stop!
