Looks like it would be nice, standing outside at 230pm, looking at the posted hours that says open to 5, but the doors are locked and the phone just hangs up on you. Love that I made this trip from queens to come out here.

Had a great experience going to Blatt's. We were visiting New York and wanted to know if there was a local NY pool supply store. Upon entering, I was amazed by the selection of cue sticks they have. They carry predator, cuetech, mcdermmot etc. I bought a Predator P3 with a revo shaft from them along with a BK2 break stick. Both play excellent and the gentlemen that assisted us were incredibly nice and knowledgeable. Definitely would come back again whenever I visit NY.

Blatt also carries darts and supplies besides billiard tables and equipment. I stop in for darting supplies for the league I play in. The workers are extremely helpful, courteous, and NOT pushy for a sale. They allow you to try out darts on their house board. I usually get a few laughs when I change configurations and "build" a set of darts that I like. highly recommend Blatt for their selection and friendly atmosphere.

After my third visit there, I have to write a review. 1. Initial time was to try to get them to rewrap my rotten, smelly Irish linen on a VERY old McDermott. They sent it back to the manufacturer and the work was done quickly and FREE under their lifetime warranty. Wow. 2. I had to buy a few random things (chalk board, pool glove, etc). I also had ruined my cue tip by trying to correct a minor issue myself.

The owner (I believe) fixed it up for me quickly and didn't charge my for that. Of course I paid for the other stuff. Still, a great exp there. 3. Last visit I was interested in buying a new shaft for my cue. I think I spent 2+ hours chewing off the ear of the employee with countless questions. He could not have been more patient and helpful. I believe I got the appropriate shaft and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. Basically, this place is awesome. GO in person if you need work done, advice, or to buy stuff.

Simply Put, Blatt Billiards is the best there is. I know of the showrooms in New York, where I have visited, and New Jersey. I also knew them when they were downtown on Broadway, with their five-story building -- a combination showroom and veritable museum of pool tables, some of which were 200 years old. They refurbished my Atlantic Buffalo (Atlantic Billiards, Brooklyn), a 5' x 10' table made in 1920.

The craftsmanship was impeccable. They brought out the dark Tiger oak wood grain. I know they do custom-made tables and have a range of cues, from modestly priced all the way up. They once had 3,000 tables in inventory. But I have lost track of how many they have now. I asked if they would set up my table before Thanksgiving, when my family was coming.

They had it done the Tuesday before. The set up was peerless--pockets set right, table level, the most beautiful green cloth you ever laid eyes on. I will never stop singing their praises. We worked with Jeff Roeder to select a pool table for restoration; ultimately purchasing a Brunswick Jewel. Jeff was knowledgeable and provided significant guidance through the process. He was proactive, keeping us informed, and helped with the decisions needed to bring the table to completion. The table turned out beautifully. Their craftsman returned a table to as good as and perhaps better than new condition.

I am happy to play a part in continuing the table's history. Blatt's delivery was on time, professional and of exceptional quality. Went in having a general idea of what cue stick I wanted to buy as a gift, and came out with the perfect one. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable which made the shopping experience a true pleasure. I felt zero pressure into going out of my budget, as they have tons to choose from at different price ranges.

Jose Hernandez Completed installation of our Blatt Billiard 7 foot pool table yesterday. It was my, Combo Birthday/Retirement gift. Let me say that the whole experience was wonderful. I visited several sites and decided on a 6 foot at another site, however, after speaking with Brian Roeder of Blatts, I realized that I would be better off with the 7 foot table.

To top it off, it was cheaper than my original choice. The installers were on time and quite organized. They patiently worked with me to ensure that it was perfectly positioned for the best experience. My wife loved that when they let, there were no signed of their visit. I had a fantastic experience with the Blatt Billiard family. I was in the market for an air hockey and ping pong table for my son. Laurin and Brian walked me thru the whole process, gave me the best advice and were so accommodating. My son absolutely loves his new games. In addition, when I went to pick up the new tables at their custom billiard workshop in Wood-Ridge, I was treated like royalty. Bruce not only held my hand through the entire process, he made certain that the table made it to us in a timely manner and in perfect condition. To be honest, I knew Blatt Billiards was the place to go from the jump so to speak and frankly they surpassed my expectations. In view of the current Covid 19 healthcare crises and the closure of my beloved billiard hall, I decided to take the leap and contact Blatt regarding a table for my condo. From the first email the vibe with Brian was great and a deal was made for the table.

The follow up communication was fantastic both with Brian and Jodi. The team at Blatt call you every step of the way throughout the process from inception to completion of table assembly. The delivery and the assembly were above and beyond in this day and age; total professionalism, because my friends, this is an art. Angel clearly knows his craft inside and out, and is meticulous; a real perfectionist. Chuck, his helper is a real gentleman, excellent. If you are considering a billiard table purchase, look no further because this is the one and only as far as I am concerned. Thrilled.

It's very simple. If you're serious about wanting a high quality pool table, these are the guys to go to. What was just delivered to my house is nothing short of a work of art. When I first met with Brian and Jeff, I really didn't understand exactly how Blatt operated. What I quickly learned was that they're not a normal pool table company -- what they really are is a family owned company that is interested in discovering exactly what you see your table being, and then creating it. Walking their warehouse facility and seeing the artists creating customers tables was impressive to say the least. If love pool and want a truly special table, go to Blatt.

We entrusted the full restoration of our late 19th Century Brunswick Balke Collender "Popular" model table to the Roeder family at Blatt Billiards. From the start of our initial visit with David and Steve Roeder in NYC, followed by a trip to the NJ shop and a tour by Bruce Roeder and his son, Jeff, through the series of decisions to be made with Jeff, who led the project, the experience was an enjoyable one throughout. Jodi, who handled scheduling, and Angel and Chuck, who first disassembled and returned three months later to set it up are all true professionals. Watching Angel spend a good 2 hours just on leveling the table underscored their care in getting it right.

The attention to detail throughout the project was exceptional. Our table has now been restored to a jewel-like appearance and plays with a liveliness that we had never enjoyed in 30+ years it has been in our family. There is only one Blatt Billiards.

This review has been a long time coming and I don't quite know where to begin my rave of this small, family owned business or the way I feel we have been cared for whilst working with them. I started corresponding with Laurin in December 2019 with the hope of getting a pool/dining table. From our first phone call she was helpful, considerate, thoughtful, and extremely approachable, friendly and enthusiastic.

She talked me through all of the possible options, sent over samples, went over designs and special considerations and ultimately helped me choose a fusion pool/dining table. All this she did under time constraints as I was hoping to have the table in our new home for my husband's birthday. When obstacles presented themselves - as they often do with big investment pieces - she did her absolute best to find a remedy. (One of the railings on the table broke during shipment; she phoned to notify me of this and suggested sending and installing the table regardless so that we could still have it for my husband's birthday.

She simultaneously ordered a replacement piece and is having the installers come back to change the railing.) As I told Lauren myself, she is a true customer representative. She ultimately serves the customers' best interests with empathy and pride. I'm so grateful for having had the pleasure of doing business with her. I can't recommend her and Blatt Billiards enough!

A friend of mine referred me to Blatt Billards. I went over there in person and met with Jeff. He educated me and really spent the time helping me select a pool table and everything that I needed. I walked out of there feeling really good with my pool table and accessories purchases. About two weeks later, my table was delivered by Roger (or Ron?) and another colleague.

They were really nice and very professional. They spent hours properly installing the pool table. They were very helpful advising me the proper positioning for the room. About one week later, I went back to pick another item and another employee, George, was also very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I could not have hoped for a better experience with these people and this company. Thank you!

A great place if you like Darts or pool. I'm a dart dude so that's why I went. They are very informative and help out with any questions you have. They let me try a variety of darts and came out with a good set. Definitely check them out if your in the area

Can't go wrong with Blatt! Couldn't have asked for better costumer service - everyone was so attentive and professional. And what an amazing product. Wow. I don't typically "Yelp", but it's so rare that a product is worth an absolute rave that I needed you all to know! Blatt or bust.

I bought an entry level pool table (the "autumn") from the good people at Blatt. Even though my choice was relatively low-budget, they treated me as if I were their most valued customer. When my table developed a crack in the wood, they replaced it. Let me be clear--they replaced whole damn table! And they worked around my very irritating renovation schedule to do it at my convenience, too. Everyone there--Brian, Jodi, and the installers they sent--is an absolute professional. And the table is a dream come true.

We bought a custom pool table, shuffleboard and air hockey table for our home game room. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable from the sales to delivery teams. Pricing is very good and the custom craftsmanship is excellent. Highly recommend visiting their showroom if you are considering a game room purchase, this is a fantastic family owned business who cares about its customers.

This place is great! Only place in manhattan that sells a fantastic selection of dart supplies. You can try out any pair on their dartboard so you know what you're getting. Brian helped me find the perfect pair and charged me a fair price. Lots of dart accessories; flights, shafts, score boards, back boards / cabinets, throwing lines and cases. They also have beautiful pool tables, cues, dominos, dice and playing cards.

Great store, Julien helped me choose between different cues, he was very knowledgeable and helped me understand which cues fit my needs best. Thank you Julien, would recommend the store for everyone!

I was looking for a modern pool table not just to play pool but as a showcase piece for my highrise condo. Found Blatt online and was a little nervous at first to order from NY being in LA. I came in one Saturday afternoon looking to get a new cue after a long hiatus. I was greeted by an older gentleman named Jessie who in very sincere form helped me identify some cues that fit my general specifications. And even knowing that I wasn't walking out the door making a purchase that day, they set aside the items I requested so that I could come back a few days later and purchase them. I'm a pretty tough shopper in that, when I buy, I want to leave little room for any doubt about my purchases.

The whole family of staff here went above and beyond to help me rebuild my cue arsenal. From the Chief and Head Poncho himself, to his son Brian, and their trusty guru and go-to-guy Julian. These people know what professionalism is and how to ensure a customer walks out the door happy. I would gladly do business with them again, and most certainly will.
