The people who have been framing my pictures for the last 25 years recommended Michael's shop to me. I took in a Cuban piece I recently acquired and he did a super job. The best framers are people who can work with you to turn what you have into a true piece of art. Michael was patient, receptive to my ideas and budget and helped me create a super piece.

I enjoyed the process we went through and would highly recommend Michael's talents to anyone who wants to take a serious approach to framing. I have attached a photo of the results so you can see what we created.

I bought some wall art and brought it in to be framed by Michael, and I have nothing but great things to say about both my experience and the results. Michael has a really deep knowledge of the colors and frames he has in the store and gave great suggestions to fit the pieces and my tastes. He wasn't pushy and was very receptive to my preferences, but all of his recommendations were spot-on nonetheless!

The pieces themselves came out great and Michael wrapped them up safely for me to take home. I really feel that Michael cares about the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his customers and he really delivered on both fronts for me.

When I stumbled upon Michael's store, I had been searching for an antique map of India or Asia for a couple years. Little did I know there was a fantastic art/map/framing store right in my backyard. Michael spent well over an hour with me pulling out maps, explaining the framing process, and teaching me about which frames worked best with the different maps I had picked out.

He was extremely gracious with his time and showed me various pieces from his gallery. I could have probably spent even longer exploring his (frankly amazing and comprehensive) collection of antique and vintage maps, but I knew I needed to make a decision between three of my top picks. With Michael's help, a map was picked, a frame was chosen, and a type of glass was selected.

The end result was a framed map of Asia that looks even better than I expected. Hats off to Michael for the great (and patient) service! I'll certainly be coming here for subsequent maps and even any framing needs in general.

I've gone to Michael Perry for several years to frame anything from my great-grandfather's civil war discharge papers to some antique prints we purchased abroad on a recent trip. His work has been consistently superlative, not just in the quality of materials & execution, but also in his advice about which frame, matte, border etc to choose.

He also has an impressive collection of framed & I framed antique prints, ranging from gorgeous 19th century portraits of Indian chiefs to European architecture. I could easily spend hours just perusing his collection. The bottom line: you can trust Mr. Perry to deliver with your precious art work & memories!

My latest - a map framing - is just amazing how he has a sense of just the right matting and frame - both color and style - to make the most of your artwork or print.
