A real diamond in the rough. Not in the greatest neighborhood, and no real parking but worth the trip. It has a great selection of difficult to find salvage pieces. From hardware to doors, mantels to Windows it's got everything. Some items have been partially restored, some are in their original state. The staff is helpful and approachable.

I can't say enough about how cool this place is and how much selection they have but BEWARE of the sanding service. We were really happy with the doors we selected and mostly satisfied with the price. That said I'm writing this to those who may use their service to strip and square the doors. We got an old pair of french doors and loved the charm.

We paid the extra money to have them sand and they did such a good job that it looked almost new. which is not what we were going there to purchase. My biggest complaint is that when they went to square them they added a piece of wood to the sides which looks NOTHING like the original wood. And we were planning to keep them natural! : Very disappointed in that aspect of it so think carefully before you spend the extra $. Also, if they were to break glass in process etc then that's on you too so we heard.

You can see piece of wood added in pictures. Update: so despite having loved the way they originally looked my wife couldn't live with the changes. We called them back and they were happy to work with us. They let us to exchange them for another set. This time we took them home as is and love them.see recent picture. Updating rating based on good customer service

What a great experience! Kelly, the owner, was extremely personable and very helpful. She has that type of personality where you feel you've known her forever. I wanted to purchase old Cypress doors for a condo in Chicago. I gave her the measurements and she took it from there. The quality and workmanship was second to none. Thanks to everyone at The Bank, who helped with my project. Highly recommend.

So many cool doors! We came all the way from Florida with our friends to find some unique doors for their upcoming project and we weren't disappointed. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff that shared to origins of each set of doors we inquired about.

This place has vastly improved its customer service over the past few years. It is the mecca of historic windows, doors, and shutters in New Orleans. They also offer "dipping and stripping" services for pieces that you bring-in.
