Intricate filigree designs decorate the engagement ring mountings found here. The antique style mountings are manufactured from original master molds. From round, oval and emerald cut, to marquis, trillion and heart shaped stones there's a ring here to indulge your antique inclinations. Precious stones are not included with the rings although some are shown with stones for reference purposes. If you are interested in a diamond or other stone, we would be more than happy to help you find the stone of dreams.

The Marlene Harris Collection came as a recommendation from Mary Jo at Concept Art Gallery (another favorite). Marlene's collection is so impressive! She is a delight to talk to and she does not hold back her opinions, for better or worse. The pricing is very fair. Easy to get a great deal on a beautiful ring. We bought our wedding bands here, and I am so happy with our decision. I plan on coming back in the future and recommend her to friends.

Marlene agreed to meet us later in the day to work around our work schedules, which was incredibly sweet of her. She has a massive collection, surely the largest in the greater Pittsburgh area, of antique/vintage rings. She knows what she has incredibly well as well, so she was very helpful with guiding my fiancee (who doesn't wear rings, and therefore didn't really know what she'd like) toward something she'd like. Couldn't recommend highly enough

I visited Marlene's store with my mother to pick out a ring for her retirement. We made an appointment, and Marlene dedicated the entire hour plus to just Tell my mother her extensive collection of rings and help her make a decision. Marlene's collection of jewelry is extensive, and surprising given the relatively small size of the store. But even if you are overwhelmed by choice, you won't have too much trouble coming to a decision with assistance of Marlene's expertise.
She has over 50 years in the business and her knowledge and selection are second to none. I very much enjoyed meeting Marlene as well. Aside from the beautiful jewelry and expertise, Marlene is kind, funny, and I felt right at home from the start. I will certainly be back, and I'm sure that my mother will be too. *As an aside, but a very interesting coincidence.
After my mother had bought the ring and got at home she noticed that there had been a date engraved on the underside of the ring. The date ended up being her birthday, only a different year. Pretty cool. I absolutely love the engagement ring I got from this wonderful shop! They are appointment only with Covid and were both safe and accommodating. My ring arrived promptly and is absolutely stunning! The best gem this store has, though, is the proprietor. Marlene and her husband offer nothing but the highest level of service and most gorgeous collection. They were a pleasure to work with and I can't wait to purchase more pieces from them in the future!

Marlene was extremely helpful and kind in helping me pick out the perfect engagement ring for my fiance. I told her some things about my fiance and she drew upon her experience and knowledge to help me find the right one. My fiance loved the vintage ring I got at Marlene's shop and I couldn't be more grateful to her for helping me. I loved her honesty and was very impressed by her knowledge of the jewelry. Marlene is a treat and her darling shop is full of unique and exquisite pieces. She was ever patient with me as I looked over and over her stock before choosing an engagement ring she custom designed. She hands down has the best vintage jewelry in the Pittsburgh area, if not further. If I win the lottery her shop would be my first stop no contest!

Better late than never. My experience with Marlene and her store was 2 1/2 years ago. I started looking for my perfect wedding band several months before my wedding date. All I knew was that I wanted it to be white gold or silver, and antique looking. The only thing close to what I wanted at our local stores was kind of narrow and about 3 times more than we wanted to spend.
So I looked online for antique rings, but with my size 3 ring finger, nothing was going to work. Then I came across Marlene's site, and not only did she have a beautiful selection of antique rings, but she also has her own designs that look antique, and I fell in love with several! The rings that are her designs can be made in any size, which meant I could actually have a beautiful band with little diamonds all over it made to fit my size 3 finger!
And the pricing was perfect! I ordered my band over the phone, and we discussed what size I should get. When I received it, I was dismayed to find it was a little too loose, which meant it would slide off my finger whenever my hands would get wet or when my hands would get cold. I figured since I had ordered online and it was a special order, that I would just have to figure out something on my own.
I went to a local jeweler, and he said to try and resize it would cost several hundred dollars and it would be obvious where they cut it. The other option was to have a couple of balls soldered inside of it, which sounded uncomfortable, especially for a ring that I would be wearing every day for the rest of my life. So I contacted Marlene, and was soon kicking myself for not going to her first.
She was so nice about it and accommodating! I shipped the ring back to her and she was able to have it fixed by the person who has the molds and makes her designs. When I got it back, it fit perfectly! Plus, this ring is so comfortable that I have it on all the time except for when I shower. I can't say the same of the wedding ring set I wore during my first marriage.
I'm so glad I went for a beautiful wedding band instead of an engagement ring/band set this time. Thank you so much Marlene! You are a treasure! And I'm sorry I didn't write this review sooner, but at least I can say that 2 1/2 years later I still love my ring and the quality has been excellent!

My boyfriend had found Marlene's website over a year ago when we had first spoke of engagement. For one year I've been dreaming about having one of those rings on my finger. Last week he decided that he wanted to go out to the mall to find something by himself (without me instructing him). Of course, anything the man of my dreams wanted to buy to show his eternal love would be fine, but after looking independently, he said "OK, let's go to Marlene's and pick out what you want".
First of all let me say, THE PICTURES DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE! I have never in my life been so blown away by some jewelry. And, for the price there is no comparison in the Mall jewelry stores. Not only was the antique style ring unique, affordable, and my EXACT picture of what I wanted, the service was so intimate and special. Marlene truly enjoys the work she does and you can feel it in this little hidden gem.
Not only do I love my ring, I love that it's from such a loving and timeless place. I will be back for my wedding band, and for jewelry for my wedding party. MY DREAM CAME TRUE
