Nastiest RUDEST human beings i have ever encounter. Costumer service is in the toilet just like there business. No wonder that place is shit! Ladies at the front were the most rude i have ever encounter. Asked for card payment they needed ur FINGER PRINT? and refused to see my i.d. with my face on it. then again to say i stole my i.d. Obviously they can't tell between a fake and real i.d. dumbest most inconsiderate bitches i update to the owners response obviously "my review is fake" it's "fake" because you are to entitled to realize your business and costumer service sucks!

I absolutely love the original, well-chosen pieces and the feel of the entire store. The customer service is warm without being overly solicitous, and the day I was there, I had homemade mini muffins. Even better: I picked up a mint-condition sugar and creamer set. Wonderful place: I'll be stopping in often.

I absolutely love this place. The owners are so sweet and helpful! The items for sale are everything I grew up around. I go in from time to time to see whats new. They have a great vintage jewelry collection. Wonderful sales! I got some beautiful turquoise clip earrings at a decent price.

Vintage, antique, classic, western Americana. These ladies know their stuff! They travel the west gathering their wares to sell locally, and selling one-of-a-kind, handmade, personally designed furniture, leather goods and clothing at western expos. If you're a collector of any of the above-listed categories, this is your place.

For those of you who feel lost since the antiques mall closed you should really check this place out. Missy and her Mom are delightful. The selection of items for sale is vast, diverse and fascinating. I look forward to returning for my holiday shopping, not just for family and friends but for me! Don't let the Virginia St construction scare you away. Just take Kietzke or Wells. But make sure you check their hours first.

I was in the Vassar house today and I have found a jem! I love that they have several different styles going on, quality, clean vintage and Antique. Plus Missy (the owner) is sweet and welcoming. Definitely a go to spot.

If you love vintage clothing, nostalgia, Americana, costume jewelry and just all around unique, one-of-a-kind gifts, head straight to The Vassar House! First of all, it is located in the most adorable little house on Vassar which is a perfect space where owners Missy and Harriette have created their own little time machine back to days when life was oh-so-happy and gay! Second, the owners, Harriette and Missy are a mother-daughter dynamic duo!

They are fun, cheery and absolutely love their store. You will find that their passion for all things vintage is quite contagious! Right now they have decked their halls to be like the jolly days of old for the holidays. Even their Christmas wrapping paper is vintage! And don't you dare miss their Christmas sale party where they will be serving up fresh baked xmas cookies (made from scratch, of course, just like June Cleaver used to make!) and hot chocolate made with real chocolate! Also, don't forget to check out the upstairs where they house a healthy selection of vintage clothing.

Their vintage cowboy boot selection was particularly impressive! So if ever you're feeling down and out about these dreary, modern times, take a step into the bright and hopeful days of yesteryear at The Vassar House!

The business began as the dream of a Mom and daughter to work together doing what they both love, collecting the best vintage decor they can find and using it to decorate homes, guest ranches, and lodges. Their warehouse is full of great things to do a job of any size. They are still working on their website but check it out to view a small selection of their inventory. Harriette Allison, the Mother, is designing one of a kind furniture pieces and recently began designing handbags, wallets, and belts. They are all top of the line beautiful quality made pieces. www.luckystargallery.com

Oh no! I just got a note from the owners that they're doing a big going out of business sale and will be website only after the end of their lease. Boo hoo. Reno, you really don't know what you had with these ladies and their two wonderful businesses. They really were too good for you.
