As a teenager, my mother, an avid gardener, taught me to appreciate the beauty of annual and perennial flowers in our garden. She would always say, "April showers bring May flowers" and "spring is just around the corner." Perhaps everyone heard these rhymes at some point, generally having been taught it at an early age by parents or teachers.
The Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium is located at 424 High Street (Route 541). We are across from the Post Office and just minutes from the Burlington-Bristol Bridge. Take exit 5. At the end of the exit make a left onto Route 541 North towards Burlington. Go 12 traffic lights. After the last light you will see our sign on the left side of the street across from the U.S.
Shoppers come from Philadelphia, Bucks County, New York, North Jersey and around the globe. Booth renters need to work in "The Emporium" 1 day a month or pay $50.00 additional for a substitute. We advertise in Antiques and Auction News, Antique Week, Goode Things Old and New, The Journal of Antiques and Collectables, Beverly Bee.

Just, no. I've been to plenty of Antique Malls such as this in NJ and across the country to recommend you spend your time and money at a different place. The prices here are extremely high and the items do not reflect the pricing. It was not uncommon to find small trinkets/dipping bowls (I'm talking about a mass produced item the size of a silver dollar that once sat in your grandma's kitchen cabinet for a few years) priced at $40-$65. Do with that what you will - it's your money.

I love this antique store and so does my 3 year old! The owners and staff are amazingly friendly and understanding. Always finding beautiful gifts and inspiration around every corner. At checkout, my son was being, well, a toddler, and an older man behind the checkout counter offered him a single serving packaged chocolate cupcake to keep him satisfied until mommy was done checking out.
Really appreciated that! The antique store usually has cookies and treats for all shoppers displayed near the checkout counter, complete with a coffee area but has since had to discontinue their kindness bar due to this pandemic. Well, their kindness is still very prominent. Thank you!

As soon as you walk in there take you temperature. Sanitize your hands and then start your shopping! Very nice staff. A huge building filled with nostalgic stuff. Some stuff for the fellas and women Alike. They had Halloween booth as Xmas stuff peppered here and there too! Telephones and postcards, magazines, kitchen stuff, little kid books, some ladies hats and coats and basically filled with figurines & knickknacks. If you buy $25 then Make sure you get a point card stamped! It's nice to look around and see all the stuff.

Love antiques and anything vintage, but this place seems to sell items you find at a typical garage sale. Not much furniture, which is what I prefer. Large space, but it's mainly all small items such as costume jewelry and nick-nacks. There is absolutely no AC and going there in 90 degree weather was miserable. Bathroom was decent but with extreme heat it wasn't pleasant. I would return only when I have nothing else to do and hope to find a hidden treasure.

Another reviewer said this was a small place. Not sure if she was thinking of one of the other antique places right around there, but this place is by no means small. Per the website, they've got over 65 vendors and 14,000 square feet. Admittedly, I didn't measure the place, but the number of vendors is easily accurate. We spent a good 1.5 hours in here and were rushing towards the end (they were closing).
The day we visited there had been an event (we missed it), so there were snacks for sale and complimentary coffee. The coffee is offered daily, however. With so many vendors, prices and items vary quite a bit, but there were plenty of affordable items to balance out the more expensive pieces. I left WITH a pair of ladies gloves and WITHOUT a set of kitchen canisters that match my salt and pepper shakers (I was practicing self restraint). I did get a photo, though!

Interesting browse although we didn't find much that we were interested in buying. If you are looking for an eclectic antique store this deserves 4 stars. Considering the amount of things for sale the majority of the booths were nicely displayed. I also thought the pricing on most things seemed quite reasonable. The antiques are not particularly high end but still a good browse.
If you take your time it would probably take about anywhere from 1.5-2 hours to get through. I think we spent about 45 minutes browsing around. We didn't interact with the staff so I am unable to comment on that aspect.

Incredible beautiful old barn-like building filled with fun finds! You could spend all day in here! The staff is lovely and they even have a table of goodies to eat while you're in there. This is NOT your typical snooty antique mart---these people are friendly and more than willing to chat and help you out! Particularly loved the I Was Framed shop!
I felt like I was in a museum! Lots of cool sports/auto/historical items. I bought an original Yankee Stadium seat and a Micky Mantle signed photo! The seller even cut me a deal---Awesome place!

Great venue and helpful staff. This place has antiques of every kind - from jewelry, toys and china.to furniture, records and books.all under one roof. The antiques are organized by separate spaces owned by different vendors and there's usually some type of sale taking place. I'm a fan and when I'm up that way am sure to stop in.

Clear your schedule because you will be in here all day. This place is huge! For a true antique lover, you will be so happy you found this gem. From antique jewelry, to furniture, to children's toys this place does not disappoint. I like to take the RiverLine here & hop off it's only a short walk and it's in the part of Burlington Township that is safe and charming.

They have a huge selection with lots of vendors and they keep great hours. Their prices are reasonable and I always find a new treasure to take home. I wish they were air conditioned in the summer. the last time I went it was 95 degrees. a little too hot, but it didn't stop me from shopping their entire huge store!
