Over time, that beautiful wooden desk your grandfather left you may start to look dingy. Years of dust, dirt, sunlight, and smoke may have taken their toll on your antiques. When that happens, bring it to Antiques by Futura to restore your prized possessions to their former glory. Let Antiques by Futura bring back that antique picture frame.
Did the leg break off your chair? Did that antique picture frame break? We'll bring your items back to life by rebuilding whatever part or parts of your item are beyond repair. Scratches, chips, and blemishes almost never happen in easy-to-hide places. And, depending on severity of the damage, it may make your item non-functional, especially if the damage destroyed nails, screws, pegs, or slots from the original manufacturing.
If it seems like woven seats are becoming a lost art, it's because they are. When you have a chair that's been in your family forever, but that woven seat is starting to fall apart-or maybe it already has fallen apart-bring it to Antiques by Futura! We'll get that seat fixed up and looking great in no time.

I always drive by this when I'm on mission gorge and one day my husband and I finally decided to check this place out, out of curiosity. If you're looking for antique furniture and pieces for projects, this is the place. They definitely have an impressive collection of antiques- even dated as early as the late 1800s. It's very cool! Although the items are very pricey, it is a nice collection of history. Very cool place!

I have probably driven by this business for 20 years. Should have stopped in that long ago. By far the best shopping in east county. Friendly and helpful brother and sister owners. Answered many questions but in no way any sales pressure. Huge variety that is very organized so you aren't overwhelmed by clutter. Some areas are theme organized so if you are looking for specific era you can easily shop. Very fair prices, clean, awesome customer service.

Wow! I want to live there, but I'm kinda obsessed with furniture. They have it beautifully set up, it's not all cluttered and crazy. They have each thing staged and it's easy to walk through. Very competitive retail prices and hundreds of one of a kind unique pieces. If you are serious about picking up a really GOOD old piece I would look here first- family owned and operated I was chatting with the original owners son. Very nice and inviting place I liked it a lot

I enjoy searching through shops like this one. It was packed with objects and or treasures from the past. Although it was packed from corner to corner is was organized and clean. If you are searching for fine china, teacups and teapots in unusual shapes and styles this is your shop. The glassware and dishes were in excellent condition, they have a variety of pots, pans, kettles, flatware, tables and chairs.
I also saw vintage sewing machines, cameras, adding machines, typewriters, fur pieces and so much more. If only I had more time (my husband was impatiently waiting in the car) I could have done some damage to my credit card (maybe he knew that LOL).

We dropped in here the other day after browsing a few stores in O.B. Well, the places in O.B. paled in comparison to what we found here. Those had a table or two and a lot of old items. Those felt like I was at a garage sale. We were looking for an antique dining table. Something nice looking and not too pricey. We found one here. No, we found several so we ran home and got our dining chair to see which matched (or didn't match at all in this case.) We had no need to check out any other stores after seeing all the choices here.
This place looks like a warehouse on the outside and the location right off the highway (next to a moving truck rental) is nothing exciting, but wait until you get inside. This has to be the nicest, cleanest antique store I have ever been in. Walking through here was like walking through several showrooms. It doesn't have a department store atmosphere, more like a homey, comfy feel.
If you are looking for any kind of used furniture, you should check here first. They also seem to have other items than tables, but I was focused on tables. It is two floors of everything you might need to furnish a house. And all the pieces looked nice, not like they had been left outside or were made to look rustic. There was a storage room where some of the pieces looked more used, but those were still nice or had potential.
I wish I had come here sooner instead of always driving by as I got off the 52 to go into Santee. The moving truck rental is run by the same people, so you can buy a bunch of items and then easily rent a truck to get it home (I think they deliver too.) They can refinish the pieces you buy here or pieces you already have at home. We ended up choosing a used looking table.
They are going to refinish it for us to make it look super nice. Takes a couple of weeks or so. I can't wait to pick it up. The prices seem quite reasonable. Two floors. Lots of antique items. A lot of furniture pieces for any room. The main guy and the guy doing the furniture restoration were both quite pleasant, patient and easy going.

A large antique showroom, with some very interesting pieces, nicely staged (I actually overheard some children ask if it was a museum). The proprietor was very happy to chat with us and to look in the storeroom for unfinished pieces that matched what we were looking for. This will definitely be one of my first stops when looking for furniture.

I have had two antique dressers refinished by Antiques by Futura. They don't work quickly - I'm not sure anyone who does this work does it quickly! But I have to say, the results were fantastic. I believe the prices were reasonable - not cheap, but you'll see that they do this work the old-fashioned way - with a lot of pride and workmanship. The before and after pictures of my projects were amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again if I need refinishing work (and I probably will!)

Stop by there today to look for chest for my step daughter as a hope chest. Robert was very helpful. We pick out a chest, but needs to be refurbished. We think this will be a perfect item for her. Can't wait to see it finished. We found some other thing in there too. A nice store in a good location.
