Fascinating place. If you don't come away with at least a few items, you didn't look long enough. So don't go to Cowgirl Attic if you don't have the proper time to browse and sift through ALL the rooms (not to mention the side yard). Is the owner rude? Absolutely. The perfect touch for a truly unique experience. Give it a chance. Or in my case, a second chance. You'll be glad you did.

I'm quite sad this store is closing. so many treasures waiting to be found. i've only been here once but my mom has an intense love for this little shop. i love the record collection, and how many other cool things there are to buy inside. the only complaint i have is that you have to pay an extra dollar to put your records in a sleeve! i understand that a dollar isn't a lot, but i feel like the record should come with a sleeve. i had to take home my new police record "naked" other than that, this is a great place to go if you're in a thrifting mood. especially great since everything is on a serious sale for closing!

What's not made in Mexico to look like antiques (made in Mexico tags are on many pieces) is just junk. Maybe scavenged from people's trash. We tried to barter on one item we did like and the owner read us the riot act about how her stuff is not made in China. It's made in Mexico by Artisans. I didn't want stuff made to look like antiques. She also told us we should not buy from the big box and online retailers because it was making it too hard on her as a small business person.
The store was filthy and stuff was just piled up wherever she could throw it. She put no effort into merchandising her store or cleaning it. We were traveling from Indiana to Tennessee and found this store on the internet. Sorry we did - total waste and very poor ownership. No pride in her store and complained the whole time. Had to give it 1 star because -0- was not an option.

When I'm looking for something unique, I start at Cowgirls Attic! I've purchased several pieces for my garden over the years and can always find what I'm looking for. I'm not sure why reviewers scoff at the prices. I would not expect an owner to "give away the store" and have found them to be very reasonable. I hope the store is around for a very long time! Love it!

This store is a huge let down. When you browse their Facebook or web page, the store looks interesting and fun. Not so. It's a big junk store with some new metal works thrown in. The outdoor section is stuff just rotting & rusting. There was even an old hospital table (?) outside just rusting away. If you are looking for old doors or mantels then they definitely have them. Some interesting garden/outdoor decor items but mostly junk.

Cowgirl Attic has tons of old, cool, eclectic, interesting things. When you walk in, it's like a junker's (antiquer's) nirvana! And you know you're going to find a treasure in here somewhere, everywhere. Because the thrill is in the hunt, right? And all of that is true at Cowgirl Attic. But between the prices (or lack thereof) and the staff, I can't understand how this place is still in business. Are people really paying what they are asking for on these items? It's a lot.
But you have to ask the owner lady who is there behind the counter for the price. And it's like you are really bothering her as she is really busy doing something important. Do I have to bring every item that I'm interested in to the counter to get a price on it? Yes. And you shouldn't think that you'll just go ahead and bring it to the counter and purchase, regardless of what she thinks is a fair price, because you will be surprised at what that price is.
I get it. The lady at Cowgirl Attic has hunted for these things, bought them, transported them, cleaned (?) them, and now they are for sale. And I have bought several things. But it is expensive. Do they even care if they sell something? That's the feeling that is given. So, staff doesn't care if you buy anything, no prices on most items, and quite pricey on those items.

The owner was very unprofessional and very high priced. She was out of the store for the day and would not give us a price on an item until she could look at in person which was an issue because we were just passing through on our way home to Wisconsin. The item that she did give us a price on was very high, so we left without buying anything and will not be going back. She needs to have items priced in her store if she's going to be away and unwilling to price things over the phone. Very disappointing experience.
