The company conducts approximately four to five catalogued general antiques, fine arts and decorative arts auctions per year. The sales offer a varied selection of fresh to the market items to include, antique furniture, paintings, sculpture, porcelains, Art Pottery & Glass, sterling silver, coins, jewelry, antique toys, tools, advertising, military & historical items.Each sale is unique and extensively advertised. Publications include the Maine Antique Digest, Antiques & the Arts Weekly, The Journal of Antiques & Collectibles, as well as other specialty publications if warranted.

White's Auctions takes a personal interest in serving each consignor to provide the best possible results for them while offering the highest quality and variety of fine art, antiques, and collectibles to bidders. Each auction is extensively advertised through our website, in several trade publications, via online sites, social media avenues and through direct mail.
Items of value or interest will do better at auction. The advantage of an auction is competition and exposure. We have a varied and knowledgeable customer base of dealers and collectors who compete at auction. We research, photograph, and catalog each item. We advertise extensively in antique trade publications with huge circulations, on the Internet, and through direct mail. In addition to live audiences, absentee, and phone bidders your items are available for bidding worldwide through online platforms.
Furniture, large paintings or items otherwise unable to ship in house will require UPS, FedEx or individual long distance shippers for packing and shipping purchased items. It will be the responsibility of the purchasers to make these shipping arrangements and to pay them directly. It is recommended that bidders obtain shipping estimates for particularly large items prior to bidding.

They have high quality items, but awful customer service. I settled on a deal with Kathryn and confirmed the deal 3 times, then when I showed up to buy she upped the price by a thousand dollars "take it or leave it", and she was VERY rude to me and told me to "take the item and never call her again" then hung up on me. The definition of bad business practices because she lost a good customer. I would never buy anything from this place, and Neither Will anyone I know. Kathryn needs a lesson in running a business.

I won an item in their auction online at below the market price and got super excited, until a few days later finding out they cancelled my purchase. Emailed the auction house without receiving responses. All I want to say is that if you can't afford to sell things at below market price every now and then, stop holding auctions and waste other people's time.

I've shopped here often and gotten some really great deals. Honest people, amazing finds! White's hosts frequent auctions both online and in person. You can preview all items either way and be confident you are getting quality goods. Clean, climate controlled environment and they provide light refreshments to make your auction experience that much better! It's no wonder they always have a full house at their auctions. I highly recommend them, you'll be glad you joined in.

I had a great time! Spent about a grand, but that is why I went! Thank you guys! It was a blast! Awesome deals too! I was offered a $700.00 profit on one of the items I got there last time I went. I got the offer the next morning from a well known and respected antique dealer from my home town. I didn't know him at the time, but he happened to park next to me at the coffee shop I go to.
He saw one of the boxes in the front seat that I got at the auction the night before and started making offers (to um, ,) "help me out right away", "CASH MONEY!" he said! Ha ha ha! He really was very disappointed when I told him I was going to keep the stuff for a while! Lol! He asks the same thing at least 3, maybe 4 times a month now! I almost wish I didn't give him my number! Lol! Thanks for my treasures White's Auction!
