My mother was invited by an elderly man who is assumed to be the owner of the business, to bring in some antique goods. When she brought them, she was invited in. The elderly man was nice. However, 2 younger employees, a male and female, looked at the items and told the elderly man not to buy them. This was fine and as my mom was putting her items in her cart, the younger woman, approximately 30-35 yrs old, put her hands on my mother and pushed and shoved her out towards and through the door.
My mother cried all the way home. When I called to inquire about this behavior, the elderly man, said, "Well we have a $10000 table near the exit and if it gets broken, I'm out $10000, so she was taking too long to leave." I explained she was elderly, wears a knee brace, has arthritis, and was putting the antiques away. He got upset, did not care, and invited me to call the police, Better Business Bureau, The Attorney General's office, The Mayor, and "President Obama himself for all he cared".
I informed him that NO ONE has a right to place their hands on someone else in that manner to just rush someone out for fear of them breaking something. All that was needed was an apology. Everyone I personally know will never, ever go near this business or recommend it to anyone. We will do the opposite. Tell everyone to avoid it at all costs.
