I have been in business since 1978 when I started renting the shop on the corner of Market and Livingston Streets. The next year, I bought the building. Please come and visit me. I have a wide variety of lighting fixtures and bathroom accessories. Many towel bars to choose from. Always at least 85 medicine cabinets in stock.
I have such a variety of vintage and antique lights at my 3,000 sq/ft lighting store in Saugerties New York, that some people have complained of sore necks from browsing my inventory! Don, the shop's owner, has a wealth of antiques knowledge rarely rivaled. Fed-On specializes in lighting and plumbing with rooms and rooms of options.
This is just a small sampling of the inventory available in my Saugerties antique plumbing and bathroom fixtures store. Come visit my 3,000 sq/ft store in Saugerties New York where you can find everything you need for your bathroom renovation project, from authentic porcelain wall sconces to sinks, faucets and towel bars.
Antique and vintage lighting pieces are some of the most interesting and beautiful out there. They are uniquely built, beautiful and often so out of the ordinary that they put modern lighting to shame. That being said, antique and vintage lighting is not made the same as modern fixtures and that means that it may be harder to get repairs done.

An amazing resource for antique/vintage lighting filled floor to ceiling with lighting, lamps, some mirrors, antique bathroom trim and vintage sinks. It can be overwhelming so it's good to come knowing exactly what you want. There is Victorian mostly, with a lot of schoolhouse and a few Art Deco scattered in. Owner was friendly and helpful! The store has been there for 44 years.
We have been renovating an old Victorian for three years and I am always on the hunt. These pieces are affordable and working! Any negative viewers really don't know what they are talking about.

This is such an incredible resource. Huge array of vintage and antique lights that have all been rewired (at very reasonable prices). The negative reviews seem kind of suspicious. Why would anyone go to a shop that specializes in vintage lighting and complain that the merchandise was all vintage? It makes no sense. The collection is extensive and the bathroom hardware is really spectacular - all stuff that would sell for many times as much in the city.

For anybody who gives this shop a poor review because the fixtures are outdated, please note that the main photo for the shop has the word "Antiques" on it 3 times! I bought two beautiful fixtures; one Victorian and one Edwardian, both in fine condition and properly electrified and re-electrified. The owner was just fine; he had to rearranged displays to make the sale and he wrapped the glass for both items carefully for my drive home.

I have a feeling a group of reviewer's above were some arrogant people i'm thinking they're just in some small town where they were probably from anyway and moved to New York City for three years and act like they are extremely special Requiring special treatment since many of us who live here and Saugerties are not originally from here so they blow into some "small town" and expect special treatment found the owner extremely friendly helpful he fixed two lamps for me He has beautiful inventory of vintage lamps and I am hoping I to get a few for new house as I've been renter in Saugerties for 20 years watching the influx of people above no matter I grew up in the south and moved to New York City as young teen I hate watching the arrogance of these people who I'm sure the shop owner didn't want to sell anything to them for a reason

Loved the Art Deco lamps! Most awesome choices of lighting for my country home in Woodstock. I have to tell my friends from Brooklyn who have moved up here to "pop in". I even heard HBO movie producers shopping while I was there. The owner was so knowledgeable and helpful, he knows everything. A real delightful local person. While shopping we took a photo of a lamp that my sister in Florida saw and liked. She called him up and bought it, he was able to pack it up safely and ship it to her with no problem. Great service. We'll be back real soon to buy a chandelier!

Had a wonderful shopping experience at this well stocked lighting store. I hate boring modern plain lighting. Give me cozy Globed, Stained Glass, Tortoise shell romantic lighting any day to blaring mid century junk. When I walked in the store. I felt like Alice in Wonderland, so amazing, so much to see and choose from. The owner knows his stock, well and was very helpful and a little cute. Had the same shop, same place for 40 years in quaint Antique village Saugerties.
I love my lamps and was lucky to find a matching pair. My whole room looks gorgeous now! I'll be back. You got to see all the beautiful lighting to believe it! P.S. This is not IKEA but a REAL antique lighting shop that actually can do repairs too! I think previous reviewers didn't read the big sign over the door which read "ANTIQUES", before entering as they reviewed the shop filled with "old" stuff. (Treasures to us Antique hunters)

The sweetest shop owener in town. I stumbled into this store during a short trip from out of state to visit family. The shop owner is extremely knowledgeable about where and when the pieces are from. He also re-wires pieces! I'm planning to bring in a lamp during my next trip to Saugerties. While there, I found a stunning 1920's fixture for my dining room and a beautiful brass frame.
If I could take a claw foot bathtub home with me, I would! The shop is a two story treasure trove! Thank you for caring for and taking such pride in these heirlooms. Already can't wait to go back.

Don't waste your time with this unhelpful shop owner. He seems to be more concerned with showing off his collection than actually selling anything. On every count, he throws up barriers to a sale; from his attitude towards customers, to his unwillingness to negotiate to his refusal of credit cards. His prices are on the highest end and can be bettered with minimal searching online. There is a reason his inventory is so vast.

This is the mother of all antique/vintage lighting stores. It in itself is a destination for anyone needing vintage or antique lighting. When you walk in it takes a few moments to realize just how many lighting possibilities there are for you to choose from. The prices are reasonable and the selection can be overwhelming so be sure you have plenty of time and Money because you will probably find more than you ever thought you could use here.
