Mark is always very prompt in getting back to my email when I have a question of something's value. I especially love their vintage Native American jewelry collection. There are some very awesome pieces. Everyone at the gallery is considerate and helpful.

Absolutely the best customer service you will EVER find! The staff, including Mr. Sublette himself, are so helpful and ALWAYS available to answer questions and educate consumers like myself. The knowledge that Mr. Sublette has regarding the Native American people and the breathtaking items they hand craft is invaluable! You won't find a more immaculate gallery that contains unimaginable Native American pieces in the Southwest, or anywhere in the world! Thank you, Mr. Sublette! I have learned so much from your videos on YouTube as well! I consider myself lucky and blessed to be educated by your wisdom! Just AMAZING!

I sent Mark some pictures of my grandmothers indian carpet in the morning and some background on how long it had been in the family. by that afternoon Mark sent an enthusiastic reply stating that indeed it was Navajo, of the ganada type, from the 1920's and a general idea of the value. i wouldn't hesitate to deal with him if we decide to let it go. fair, honest, open and generous with his time. thanks again Mark, Allyn

The gallery has one of the largest selections of Native American and Southwestern art in the U.S. Paintings, sculptures, jewelry, woven rugs, coiled baskets and pottery are just a small portion of the collections. A must stop while in Tucson. They offer new items everyday for sale.

Today I had an appraisal done on a painting I purchase earlier that day. Mark was very helpful. I learned a lot about this painting. Its from 1870. Its European. Needs a good cleaning. BUT probably shouldnt. There is no signature. Or unable to see it. Worth a good price then what I paid for it. But the short time being in the gallery and hearing him educate me is priceless.

I also learned by researching further that the stretcher bar is an H. Which Europeans used. That the painting was held down by nails not staples. That staples weren't really used til after 1900. That European artist didnt really sign their art work in the 1800s. Wasnt really about the money or fame I guess. That Europeans measured in center meters and not inches when making stretchers or frames or anything they pretty much measure. This was a very memorable day! Thanks again Mark. We are all teachers and students. We teach and learn from one another. Remain teachable to understand others and ourselves.

We asked for help identifying the concho belt with 9 sterling conchos unsigned on older leather. Mark answered promptly to our email. It was Anglo, cast made probably in the 60-70's. Many thanks Mark.

I am so pleased with the service I received from Mark and Kathleen Sublette. In January 2019, I consigned a 7-piece collection of Indian jewelry with Medicine Man Gallery. Each piece had a pre-approved sales value. As the pieces sold, I was notified verbally by Kathleen and a check arrived soon after. The final and largest piece did not sell at the agreed upon price and a new lower amount was agreed upon.

As part of his efforts, Mark sent the piece to another market and it has now sold (January 2022). I was notified by Kathleen and the final check has been received. I think they provide an excellent, professional service with good communications and follow through. Thank you Kathleen for your graciousness and great service. Sincerely, Linda

I just reached out (again) to Dr. Mark Sublette at Medicine Man Gallery. The gallery website is a rich resource in the realms of art represented there - a great west/southwest historical and market resource for Native American and western artists. Mark graciously provided his expert opinion re. a piece in question for me. I appreciate his combination of expertise and gracious help!

I sent Mr. Sublette a question regarding a Squash Blossom necklace that was inherited from my mother. He responded on the same day, giving me information on its origin and estimated age. In addition, he advised me not to attempt to clean it, as this would diminish the value. I am very grateful for his expert advice. If I visit Tucson, Medicine Man Gallery will be included in my itinerary.
